Pre and Post Treatment.
Pre Treatment
The only hair that will be treated will be the ones that will be seen, typically 3 days of growth.
Do not wax or pluck your hairs to prevent distortion to the follicle’s hair growth cycle.
Gently exfoliate skin before treatment. This will allow for opening of follicles.
Remove makeup, clean skin enables the hair to be released easily
For pain management (if needed) take Ibuprofen one hour prior to appointment. A numbing cream may be recommended like Topicane or Emla.
Drink water! Well hydrated skin will help make the treatment more effective.
Post Treatment
Following treatment, the treated follicles will be open. Treat with an antiseptic (like witch hazel) 2 to 3 times a day.
Use of antibiotic cream (Neosporin) or aloe vera may help. Especially prior to a vigorous activity.

To prevent risk of infection within the following 48 hours:

do not go to the pool or gym
Avoid direct sun exposure within the following 48 hours
Cover the area with SPF 30+ daily.
Avoid rubbing the area and no manual exfoliation within 48 hours
